At the end of this month, gym-goers will see a huge difference at the Barnoldswick Pendle Leisure Trust facility. The gym will be massively improved with brand new, state-of-the-art, touch screen, fully interactive cardio machines, as well as some other exciting additions.
The equipment is being provided by Gym Gear, the leading supplier of commercial fitness equipment.
The décor and sound system in the fitness studio is also to be up-graded.
Plans are for the brand new equipment to be installed at the end of March. There will be 22 pieces of new kit in total, including treadmills, cross-trainers, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, rowers, a StairMaster Gauntlet and a StairMaster Airfit UB.
There will also be new strength equipment, including a dual adjustable pulley and adjustable bench.
Pendle Leisure Trust’s Gym Manager, Luke Allwood, said: “We are delighted to be up-dating and improving our gym equipment at West Craven Sports Centre.
“We like to be able to keep all our facilities up-to-date with the latest equipment, providing the best experience for our customers; and being a not for profit organisation means every pound the Trust makes is re-invested back into our facilities and activities and enables us to make improvements like this.”
