The Trust is a charitable organisation that exists for the benefit of the local community, but this is an extremely trying time with all its facilities and services affected by the disruption of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Pendle Leisure Trust has thousands of fitness members and loyal customers who have been using and benefitting from its facilities and services for over two decades. Now the charitable organisation needs their support more than ever to ensure it can keep its doors open in the future.
Alison Goode, Pendle Leisure Trust’s Chief Executive, said: “We would like to thank our members and customers for their patience and understanding and hope they will support us once again when we reopen.
“I can't express enough how much their support will mean to us and help us to continue providing top quality leisure facilities and activities.
“As a not for profit organisation, the income generated from customers, clubs and groups is reinvested back into the facilities and activities and we are now relying on their backing more than ever!
“The last few years we have averaged over 700,000 visitors each year, which shows just how important Pendle Leisure Trust is to the people of Pendle.
“Obviously, with no facilities open, we have had no income coming in, so we need every member and customer who has supported us and enjoyed using our centres over the years to return and support us more than ever. In return, we promise to continue to provide a safe, fun and friendly environment for people to enjoy their leisure time.”
