Vidya's 12-week Transformation

Vidya Persaud completed one of our 12-week Transformation programs this year, after not feeling completely comfortable in her own skin. After speaking with Jordon, one of our fitness instructors and PTs, Vidya decided to take the plunge and start on the 12-week journey. We asked Vidya how she feels 12 weeks on, and here's what she told us... 

"Over two years ago I changed my job and became very comfortable with ‘life’ as I frequently put it. I have trained for a long time, and as much as I was doing fitness classes and running, I seemed to be stuck in the same place not really progressing. I found I can lift, I can run and just about everything else, although the main issue is that in my own skin, I was very uncomfortable with how I looked and felt, which I explained to Jordon.

For a while Jordon has been talking about the 12-week transformation program and what it would entail, the progression that comes with it not just physically but mentally. So, one Monday night when I was attending a class run by Jordon in December, I told him I will sign up for the 12-week transformation and what my aims and objectives would be. Jordon guaranteed me he would be here with me every step of the way, which he has been. And now here we are, 12 weeks on… it was a very challenging 12 weeks, but I love who I am today, the results I have got, and I will not be going backwards for sure.

The encouragement from Jordon through the whole process has been fantastic, He has always been on hand to speak to me about anything I have had to ask, from the exercise routines to the nutritional guidance. Every Monday checking in with me and reminding me to “hit that protein” “hit the water intake” hit the step count” to keep myself disciplined and motivated, even now after the end of this program I still check to see if there is a text from Jordon. His passion to see you progress, to keep you motivated and driven helped me so much to push myself more and more! I have learnt so much from various training patterns and exercises to making better choices with food leading to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

You also have the team at the sports centre always giving you that extra bit of encouragement. The gym community is just brilliant! For anyone wanting to take that first step please do it, it is hard work, but you have so much support and guidance, if you follow the advice given you will only see results and it is the best feeling! And I must say the team I train with every day; you are the best. The 12-week transformation has done so much for me and for anyone in a position of unhappiness, see it as an investment in you and you are doing it for you!"
