The Good Life Project’s Plant Nursery is Now Open for 2022!
If you are looking for some pretty plants to brighten up your garden, then why not kill two birds with one stone – buy a bit of colour for your outdoor space, while giving to a worthy cause at the same time?
Plants are now available to buy from the community project’s website https://www.goodlifeproject.co.uk/
The Good Life Project – based at Hodge House Allotments, Reedyford Road in Nelson - is a therapeutic horticultural programme managed by Pendle Leisure Trust to help improve the health and well-being of individuals who may be isolated, inactive or have mild to moderate mental health issues.
An array of plants - that have been nurtured by the project’s beneficiaries and volunteers – are now for sale. Your purchases will help the Good Life Project to continue in the future to support the beneficiaries who rely heavily on this community allotment for their health and well-being.
The Good Life Project Manager, Kathy Titterton, said: “We sell various varieties of herbaceous perennials that come back each year, adding colour and interest to your garden from spring to autumn; so you get great value for money!
“Our easy and convenient click and collect service is perfect for choosing plants galore! Once we receive your order, we pick it, pack it and contact you to arrange a convenient collection time. And if you need any advice about our plants - you just need to ask!”
Every £1 generated for The Good Life Project is invested back into the project to help the people of Pendle.
