It is part of a three year deal to support the local community and its footballing talents.
Pendle Leisure Trust and Nelson Football Club have been working hand-in-hand for the last couple of years to promote and support each other, now this sponsorship will re-enforce the partnership.
The Trust is sponsoring the training kit which will be worn by every player and coach in all the teams, from the juniors and ladies to the men’s first team.
Alison Goode, Chief Executive of Pendle Leisure Trust, said: “As official sponsors we are simply strengthening our existing partnership with the club and supporting our local talent.
“It makes sense for us to get involved with us both having the same aims within the leisure industry – to get people fit and active and promote health and well-being.
“We hope the partnership will be beneficial to both parties, with us supporting the club in every way we can, in turn for the teams spreading the name of Pendle Leisure Trust locally and during away days, throughout the North West.”
Adam Keizer, Chief Executive of Nelson Football Club, added: "We are delighted to have Pendle Leisure Trust as our official training kit sponsors. It's a fantastic long term partnership that will see the Football Club and the Leisure Trust continue to work together to promote sport and health provisions within our local community."
