We are once again reinvesting in our facilities for the benefit of our members and customers!
Brand new, state-of-the-art Life Fitness cardiovascular equipment - including treadmills, cross-trainers and bikes – is being installed at Pendle Leisure Centre, Colne and West Craven Sports Centre, Barnoldswick, this month to bring the gyms at the two centres in-line with Pendle Wavelengths’ cardio equipment which has the same digital screen technology.
The cardio equipment at West Craven Sports Centre – which was brand new to the centre at the beginning of 2019 – is being distributed between the gym at Seedhill Athletics and Fitness centre and the Junior Gym at Pendle Wavelengths – so more of the Trust’s centres will benefit from the upgrade!
Even though the gyms at Colne and Barnoldswick had new equipment installed in 2017 and 2019, the Trust continues to keep all its facilities up-to-date with the latest equipment in a bid to provide the very best experience for its customers – and will be doing so with these new kits from Life Fitness - one of the market leaders in commercial fitness equipment.
Alison Goode, Chief Executive of Pendle Leisure Trust, said: “We like to continually invest in the future for our customers and provide them with the best equipment possible.
“It proves that even in these tough times, we continue to improve our facilities for the people of Pendle. Being a not for profit organisation means every pound the Trust makes is re-invested back into our facilities and activities, which we are very proud of.
“The Trust logo says we are committed to the health and well-being of our customers and we hope this will go some way to proving it.”
These new pieces of equipment provide the latest technology, where users can connect their Apple or Samsung smart watch to track and record each and every workout.
Another feature is Life Fitness On Demand, which is a virtual resource and allows exercisers to choose a workout category and level of difficulty. There is also the Life Fitness app which helps gym-goers reach their goals with instructor-led classes, adaptive audio coaching classes and workout tracking.
Luke Allwood, the Trust’s Health and Fitness Manager, added: “This equipment really is the best of the best and by introducing it to our centres is our way of providing customer loyalty. I hope both our existing members and potential new ones will benefit from this new equipment in a bid to reach their individual fitness goals.”
