Pendle Leisure Trust and Up & Active are holding a Fun & Fitness Expo at The Muni Theatre, Colne, on Sunday, March 26th.
Aimed at families on the go, there will be something for everyone from 8 to 80 year olds!
With the emphasis on family, fun and fitness, the idea behind the event is for Pendle Leisure Trust and Up & Active to showcase all their facilities and activities, so you can find out exactly what they have and do – and how to get involved.
Between 10am and 1pm there will be a whole host of activities to get involved in, including exercise demonstrations, information stands, a smoothie bike, activities for all ages and lots of giveaways.
There will be representatives from each of Pendle Leisure Trust’s facilities, as well as everything that comes under the Up and Active umbrella, including The Good Life Project, Walking Football, Sports Development, Walking Group, plus many more.
Chief Executive of Pendle Leisure Trust, Alison Goode, said: “This is an invitation for everyone throughout Pendle to come along and find out exactly what the Trust and the Up and Active team offer – and how to get involved, in a bid to get people away from their television and computer screens and in to some form of physical activity.
“We will have lots of information on hand, there will be various demonstrations of some of the classes we offer, activities for all members of the family to take part in, lots of giveaways and you can even make your own smoothie if you can pedal fast enough!”
So, if you want to get active, start a new hobby or just have some family fun, this is the place to be!
And with it being Mother’s Day, it’s a good excuse for some quality family time, plus all mums will receive a special gift!
