Colne Junior Badminton Club has won both their age group competitions in the M65 Junior Badminton League!
Pendle Leisure Centre hosted the tournament with the presentations of cups, medals and prizes made shortly after the last game was played.
In the older age group (Year 11 and Under), Austin, Rosie, Darci, Freya - and reserve Lewis - brought Colne home winning by 7 matches more than the second place. In the younger age group (Year 9 and Under) CJBC had two teams of players aged from Year 5 to Year 9. Colne A, Riley, Kyran, Ben, Scott - and reserve Ethan - brought the cup home…again 7 matches ahead of the second team!
The Most Sporting Player in Year 9 and Under was won by Ava - her prize was a pair of Bluetooth earbuds with all other players on the day being treated to some early Easter eggs.
