Work has finally started on re-building Inside Spa, following a fire at Pendle Wavelengths last August.
The pool, gym and fitness facilities re-opened at the Nelson leisure centre at the beginning of November last year. But it has taken until now for work to start on completely re-building Inside Spa, which was left completely gutted.
Pendle Leisure Trust’s Chief Executive, Alison Goode, said: “We are absolutely delighted work is finally underway to re-build what will be a truly amazing, brand new, state-of-the-art Spa.
“It has been a long and very frustrating few months, but I can assure people it will be well worth the wait!
“The new facility will hopefully re-open the first week in October, when we will look forward to welcoming past, new and future customers.
“We would like to thank all our customers for their patience; we have been just as frustrated as them! But believe me, it will definitely be worth the wait!”
The new Inside Spa will have a completely different look to the previous facility, but it will still have as many features, including a Vitality Pool, Herbal Bath, Sauna, Salt Inhalation Room, Aromatherapy Room, Footbaths, Ice Fountain, Showers and a Rasul Room for four people.
