It’s no surprise that many of us see fruit and vegetables to be boring/ unpleasant but it is essential for our bodies to eat a varied diet of both fruit and vegetables regardless of their taste!
Statistics show that we should all try to eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables each day, as this will have a positive impact on our immune system and concentration levels. Fruit and vegetables are also a great source of energy and contain none or very little fats. It is important to incorporate a variety of different fruit and vegetables into our diet as even the ones that we don’t enjoy contain much needed minerals and vitamins, essential for our health and well-being.
Don’t forget by incorporating a balanced diet into our exercise routines we are also boosting our fitness gains!
